Having overhauled their food and beverage offering, the University of Exeter required a fresh perspective
on its Catering & Retail branding.
Working in partnership with our client on an agreed structure, we named and designed a system of distinctive,
eye-catching brand pillars and sub-brands, to raise awareness of the great food and drink on offer.
Firstly, the 4 overall food ‘pillars’:
Classic cuisines from specific world regions
Food trends that capture interest and innovation
Food events and exciting pop-ups
…and a range of sub-brands and POS for the ‘Trending Now’ pillar:
…plus an overall university coffee brand,
incorporating ‘Isca’, the historic name for Exeter:
The next stage was to promote the food offerings in an engaging way.
We designed a voucher booklet and promo material with personality, using a quirky, light-hearted tone.
